Procedure documentation Using Other Yard Scheduling Chart Functions Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

To access functions shown in the below table, open the yard scheduling chart.

Zooming in

First Option

From the menu, choose View ® Zoom in.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The chart increases in size.

Zooming out

First Option

From the menu, choose View ® Zoom out.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The chart decreases in size.

Displaying details of a scheduling activity

First Option

...

       1.      In attribute mode, left-click an object.

       2.      From the menu, choose Object ® Display details.

Second Option

...

       1.      In attribute mode, left-click an object.

       2.      From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Third Option

...

       1.      In attribute mode, right-click an object.

       2.      Choose Display details from the pop-up menu.

The Scheduling activity details dialog box appears.

Reversing a previous action

First Option

From the menu, choose Edit ® Undo.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The immediate preceding action is reversed.

Refreshing the display

First Option

From the menu, choose View ® Refresh.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The chart display is updated.

Filtering the activities to be displayed

First Option

...

       1.      From the menu, choose Object ® Filter activities.

The Filter scheduling activities dialog box appears.

       2.      Enter the criteria for filtering.

       3.      If you want to save the criteria as a variant, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

       4.      Execute.

Second Option

...

       1.      From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The Filter scheduling activities dialog box appears.

       2.      Enter the criteria for filtering.

       3.      If you want to save the criteria as a variant, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

       4.      Execute.

The objects that meet the filtering criteria remain unchanged in the graph display area.

The objects that do not meet the filtering criteria remain in the graph display area, but appear in white.

 

Reversing the filtering of activities

First Option

From the menu, choose Object ® Undo filtering.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The filtering is reversed.

Switching to expand mode

First Option

From the menu, choose View  ® Switch to EXPAND mode.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

In the graph display area, all overlapped objects belonging to one location appear on separate lines.

Switching to collapse mode

First Option

From the menu, choose View  ® Switch to COLLAPSE mode.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

In the graph display area, all overlapped objects belonging to one location appear on the same line, with any areas of overlap appearing in white.

Switching to attribute mode

First Option

From the menu, choose Switch to Attribute mode.

You are now working in attribute mode.

Switching to duration mode

First Option

From the menu, choose Switch to Duration mode.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

You are now working in duration mode.

Enlarging the scale of time units line

First Option

From the menu, choose View ® Enlarge scale.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The scale of the time units line is enlarged.

Reducing the scale of time units line

First Option

From the menu, choose View ® Reduce scale.

Second Option

From the chart tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The scale of the time units line is reduced.
