Injury/Illness Log (EHS-HEA-IIL)
This component enables you to enter and manage any type of medical assistance given to persons in your company.
The various kinds of assistance are defined in the SAP system by the type of the aid given. Besides first aid and the treatment of minor injuries, you can also document the treatment of old injuries, or aid given to persons who are not feeling well, for example (providing medication), as well as health center visits or visits to physicians in the injury/illness log.

Each injury/illness log entry has a specific status that can be switched to the next status as required. The statuses are arranged in linear order. In Customizing for Occupational Health, you can define other statuses between the In Process and Closed statuses to match your requirements.
Authorization Management
To ensure that medical confidentiality is upheld, only employees with the appropriate authorization are permitted to display and edit injury/illness log entries. The authorization is checked by the authorization object C_EHSI_FAL.
Versioning
You can assign a version to an injury/illness log entry so that you can trace important changes to the entry at a later date.

Assigning versions to injury/illness
log entries is done in the same way as for incident/accident log entries. For
more information, see
Versions of
Incident/Accident Log Entries.
In the administration information for the injury/illness log entry (Utilities ® Administration Info) you can see which key date the current version was created on and when the entry was created.
