Purpose
In Country Version Taiwan, you can use Sales and Distribution (SD) to handle customer documents and capture value-added tax (VAT) information at
business place level. The
Data Medium Exchange Engine (DMEE) uses this information to generate your VAT media files for reporting to the tax authorities.
Implementation Considerations
In the case of down payments, we recommend that you
create your down payment request in SD, using the Billing Plan. You then have to post the actual down payment in Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)Integration
In SD, the business place is assigned to a sales office. This setting allows the system to derive the business place from the sales office when you post a document in SD.
