In the billing document the above mentioned fields are also located on the item level except of the fiscal type. This field is located on document header level. Additionally the fields relevant for Argentine document numbering are located on header level, also the field containing the number of pages. This field is updated automatically when a billing document is printed the first time.

The billing document contains on the item level the withholding information, which consists of the withholding types and the withholding codes. As long as the billing document is not forwarded to financial accounting it is possible to change the withholding codes.

Depending on the billing type it is possible to block the forwarding to financial accounting as long as the reference fields are not filled. This is relevant for credit memos produced in the SD application which do need a reference to an invoice for calculation purposes of withholdings. In the reference fields which are activated via the extended settings of the billing type the FI invoice number must be entered.
