Executing a System-Guided Movement Activity 

Use

Using a presentation device, you can execute a system-guided movement activity.

The system-guided movement activity is determined as follows:

...

       1.      The system sorts all movement activities as follows:

                            a.      By vehicle priority, in descending order

                            b.      By the planned time of movement activity, in ascending order.

The planned time for a movement activity is taken from the planned time of the vehicle’s scheduling activity (if a scheduling activity exists).

       2.      The system proposes the following as the movement activity:

                            a.      The movement to an available door that is highest in the sorted list of movement activities

                            b.      If there are no movement activities to available doors, the movement from a door that is highest in the sorted list of movement activities

                            c.      If there are no movement activities to or from doors, the movement activity that is highest in the sorted list of movement activities

 

Prerequisites

At least one movement activity has been created.

 

Procedure

...

       1.      From the Menu screen, choose Move ® System-Guided Move.

The Confirm Movement Source screen appears, displaying the location and other details for the vehicle that the system directs you to move.

       2.      Choose Save.

The Confirm Move Destination screen appears.

       3.      If you need to change the destination of the movement activity:

                            a.      Choose NDst. The Select New Destination screen appears.

                            b.      Enter the name of the new destination in one of the fields.

You can change the destination to a door only if it has already been scheduled for the vehicle.

                            c.      Choose Save. You return to the Confirm Move Destination screen, with the new destination being displayed in the Destination field.

       4.      To confirm the movement activity, choose Save.

 

Result

The movement activity is confirmed and the location of the vehicle is updated to the activity’s destination.

If the vehicle is moved to a door, the status of the scheduling activity changes to 2 Started.
