Copying Process Element Building Blocks to a
Recipe
This procedure describes how you copy a process element building block (process stage, operation, or action) to a recipe. This inserts a copy of the data from the process element building block into the recipe, thus enabling you, for example, to structure the process in the recipe quickly using existing process element building blocks.

You can also copy process element building blocks to other higher-level process element building blocks, for example, an operation building block to a stage building block. The procedure to do this is the same as the procedure described here for recipes.
...
1. Load the recipe to which you want to copy a process element building block.
2.
Transfer the recipe to the navigation
area or call the recipe and choose the
Process tab page.
3. Load the process element building block that you want to copy and transfer it to the navigation area.
4.
Transfer the process element building
block from the navigation area to the recipe in the navigation area using drag and drop
or to the
Process tab page of
the open recipe in the application area. In both cases, you can also assign
the process element building block to a specific process element in the
recipe, for example, you can assign an operation building block to a specific
stage. To do this, simply transfer the process element building block to the
process element in the recipe in the navigation area using drag and drop or to
the corresponding row for the process element on the
Process tab page.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 if necessary for all process element building blocks that you want to copy to the recipe.
6.
If necessary, sort, change, or supplement
the process element data on the
Process tab page.
7. Save your entries.
You have copied the data for the process element building blocks to the recipe. You can change the copied data in the recipe.
