Picking from Bulk

Use

Using your presentation device, you can pick handling units from bulk storage.

Prerequisites

A transfer order has been created for bulk storage.

Procedure

From the Menu screen, choose Stock Transfer ® Picking ® System-Guided Picking.

The Source screen appears, with empty Src HU and Dest HU fields.

Note

You can also pick from bulk as part of a pick and pack.

Enter or scan the number of the source handling unit.

If you are physically taking the whole handling unit, select Cmpl. HU.

If you not taking the whole handling unit, enter or scan the number of the destination handling unit.

Choose Ent.

If you are taking the whole handling unit, the entered source handling unit number appears in the Dest HU field.

If the quantity of the entered source handling unit is less than the quantity of the task/transfer order, the qty field is updated with the source handling unit quantity.

Choose Save.

The task is confirmed at source.

Choose Next.

The Destination screen appears.

Choose Save.

Result

The task is confirmed with the quantity of the handling unit.

If the transfer order quantity differs from the quantity in the handling unit, the transfer order quantity is updated accordingly.

Note

When you create transfer orders for bulk storage, it is recommended that you create the transfer order items with quantities equal to those of the bulk storage handling units.
