Grouping Value for Personnel Assignments 

Definition

Value that the system assigns to a personnel assignment using a grouping rule for personnel assignments.

Use

The system uses the grouping value to decide whether it must process the personnel assignments together or separately. Personnel assignments that are assigned the same grouping value are processed together.

The personnel assignments for which the grouping value is empty are an exception. The XNON grouping rule (Personnel Assignment) leaves for example the grouping value for personnel assignments empty. From a technical point of view, these personnel assignments have the same grouping value, the value Space. However, they are not processed together.

Example

The XXJU grouping rule (Legal Person) can, for example, assign the grouping values JU01, JU02 and so on, to the personnel assignments of a concurrently employed person.
