Usage

You can make any number of changes to a loan contract provided you have not yet disbursed the contract. After disbursement you can only make very minor changes, as only insignificant fields of an informative nature are released for making changes (such as loan type, application of funds, and so on). Details affecting the terms and conditions of the loan cannot be changed after loan disbursement.

Procedure

  1. Choose New Business ® Borrower’s Note ® Contract ® Change.
The Change Contract: Initial Screen appears.
  2. Enter the Company code and Loan number. If you do not know the number of the loan, you can search for the contract via the F4 possible entries function (matchcode search).
  3. The Change Contract screen appears.

  4. Depending on the field selection control settings in Customizing, you can make changes to the Basic Data, because the data does not impact a contract which has already been concluded.
  5. No changes can be made to the Conditions. If you call up the Change function in these screens, the data will only be displayed. In the Condition details screen, depending on the field selection control carried out, you can only make changes to data contained in the areas of Contract data and Notice data.
  6. You can only make changes to the stock register after disbursing a loan by means of a balance sheet transfer, so that you can reconstruct which loan was included in which premium reserve fund in the past.
  7. Save your changes.

Note

The steps involved in changing a contract are similar to those for creating a contract. For more information, read the documentation on Creating a Borrower's Note.
