You use this function to transfer the data entered in a reservation to a contract. When you activate the reservation, it changes to a contract. This contract has the same number as the reservation. To change data after the reservation has been activated, choose Order ® Change or Contract ® Change. You can use the Order ® Change function to enter contract data or to enter order data separately. The Contract ® Change function allows you to change all the contract master data. Once the contract has been bought, you cannot change the relevant transaction data.

1. Choose New Business ® Borrower’s note ® Trading ® Reservation ® Activate.

The Activate Reservation: Initial Screen appears.

2. Enter the Company code and the Loan number. If you do not know the number of the loan, you can search for the contract via the F4 possible entries function (matchcode search).

The Activate Reservation: Basic Data screen appears.

At this stage, you can still change the basic data before the reservation is converted into a contract.

3. Choose Save. The loan has contract status.
