Procedure documentation Entering Tax Data Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

You enter the tax data in Fiscal Data CH infotype 0038.

Prerequisites

In order to be able to enter tax data for the employee, Organizational Assignment infotype (0001) must be maintained. The system automatically displays this infotype as a part of the Hiring personnel action.

Procedure

  1. Call up Fiscal Data CH infotype 0038.
    When you create the first record for this infotype, you must ensure that the start date of the infotype record is the same as the date of the employee’s initial entry to your company.
  2. Make entries for the following fields: General specifications, Special entries for wage statement, and Specifications for withholding tax.
  3. Save your entries.

Result

You have entered tax data for your employee.
