Actions 
Use
An action is a business part process in Warranty Claim Processing.
You define actions and processing statuses in Customizing for Warranty Claim Processing under Control Data ® Process Control and link them to action controls in action matrices.
Features
Actions can be elementary actions or interlinking actions. Interlinking actions can consist of two or more actions that are linked to one another; the latter can be either elementary actions or interlinking actions themselves.
If an action runs up against an error within an interlinking action, the processing status that was last successfully reached is set. In other words, the entire interlinking action is not reset.
Furthermore, actions can be differentiated according to whether they should be displayed in the action box in the warranty claim or not. Actions that are only relevant to automatic warranty claim processing and should not be able to be triggered manually, ought not to be displayed.
The standard system contains numerous actions that cover the most common processing statuses. The following lists and groups all the delivered actions that are displayed in the action box.
