Using Template and One-Time Materials As Templates 

Prerequisites

In the material master you have created template and one-time materials, and you have activated template and one-time material processing in the IMG activity Activate Dangerous Goods Checks in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management.

Procedure

       1.      When you create a sales or delivery document, enter a template material or a one-time material and specify all required data.

       2.      Confirm your entries.

The Maintenance of dangerous goods tab page appears.

       3.      Edit the Maintenance of dangerous goods tab page.

       4.      Save to close the sales or delivery document.

The system informs you if your entries on the Maintenance of dangerous goods tab page are not complete. You can save incomplete documents; but the system prevents you from further processing the document for dangerous goods documents or in dangerous goods checks. In the IMG activity Specify Incompleteness Procedures you can determine how the system handles incomplete documents.

Template and one-time material processing does not support editing of shipment documents in the standard system. For this purpose, there is a customer enhancement available in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management.
