·
You have
created or imported the required phrases in phrase management in the
SAP Basic Data and Tools component for all fields that are provided for
value assignment by
phrases, and you
have assigned these phrases to the phrase
sets. For more information, see the
Phrase Management
section of the Basic Data and Tools documentation and the Waste
Management Implementation Guide (IMG) under
Create Phrase Sets.
· You have created all the wastes, waste codes, and waste catalogs required in the Basic Data for Waste Management.
...
1. You edit the waste management business partners required, in other words you enter the data for the people, institutions, or organizational units that are involved in generating, transporting, or disposing of the waste. You can enter the following data:
...
¡ When you create the waste management business partner, specify the partner type that describes the waste management business partner in more detail and controls further possible entries.
¡ By specifying a higher-level waste management business partner, you can arrange a waste management business partner in the hierarchy and thus model the relationships that are relevant for disposal processes in your enterprise.
¡ You can specify the following objects, for example, for a waste management business partner:
§ Integration objects (see Assigning Integration Objects)
§ Account assignment objects (see Assigning Account Assignment Objects)
§ Authority-assigned numbers (see Assigning Authority-Assigned Numbers)
§ Address (see Assigning Addresses)
2. You link the waste management business partners for the waste generator, waste disposer, and waste transporter roles to the wastes that these roles can generate, dispose of, or transport and thus create waste generations, waste disposals, or waste transports.
3. You link waste generations and waste disposals and thus create permitted disposal channels.
4. You edit the waste approvals and assign waste management business partners, disposal channels, and waste codes to them.
The data that you entered in the master data facilitates and automates data entry in the other SAP Waste Management components, since much of the data can be transferred automatically when you specify a waste management business partner, a waste generation, or a waste approval in these SAP components. The data is also used for checks in numerous places, thus increasing data security.
