Assigning Dangerous Goods Regulations to a
Generation Variant
This
procedure describes how you specify dangerous goods regulations in the validity areas
of a
generation variant
and then assign them to the generation variant.
Assigning these enables the system to find suitable generation variants from the dangerous goods regulations during label determination.
You
have created the generation variant and have now reached the generation
variant header data screen (see
Editing the Generation
Variant Header).
You have created a validity area for each of the required dangerous goods regulations under Specify Validity Areas in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools, as follows:
· Validity Area Category: DGREGION
· Validity Area: DG<Dangerous Goods Regulation>, for example, BGDAR for the dangerous goods regulation ADR
...
1. Choose Rating/validity
2. Choose the validity area category DGREGION under VAreaCat in the Validity Areas screen area.
3. Under Val.Area select the validity area that corresponds to the dangerous goods regulation.
4. Enter the additional data that is required and save your entries.
