Procedure documentation Starting the Distribution Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

You have created a distribution order.

Procedure

  1. In the left-hand screen area, select the distribution order (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) with the right-hand mouse button.
  2. Choose Start Distribution from the context menu.

    3. The system starts a workflow that automatically creates distribution packets.

  3. You can choose the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text pushbutton to refresh the screen.

Result

In the left-hand screen area, the system displays status This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (distribution is running). (See also Status of Distribution Orders and Distribution Packets).

In the context menu of the distribution order (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text), you can display a workflow log. The workflow log shows you which stage distribution has reached.

By double-clicking on a distribution packet (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text), you can display its detail data (see also Distribution Packet).
