Wage and Salary Payments for Concurrent Employment 

Purpose

As an independent business process, Wage and Salary Payments is part of the periodic subsequent activities of Payroll. SAP R/3 transfers posting-relevant information from the payroll results of the employee, in a summarized form, to payment data. You can then further process this data using the payment medium programs of Financial Accounting.

If you use concurrent employment, the component Wage and Salary Payments is available with all the functions. However, from the technical point of view, there are some differences from systems in which concurrent employment is not active. There is more information about these differences in the following sections.
