Explosion of Multiple Component Materials

Use

In many industries, materials are used that are made up of many components. These multiple component materials cannot always be classified in dangerous goods terms.

The explosion of multiple component materials function is supplied as a customer exit to allow customer-specific adaptations to the flow logic. Example

The following example explains a possible business scenario for the explosion of multiple component materials.

The material Adhesive comprises the components Hardener and Binding agent. No dangerous goods indicator profile is assigned to the material Adhesive in the material master. The materials Hardener and Binding agent are assigned as components; they both have a dangerous goods indicator profile and should be checked from a dangerous goods regulation point of view.
