In this infotype, you determine the amounts of the garnishment/cession that must be repaid.

Before you create new records for this infotype, ensure that Garnishment/Cession infotype (0131) has already been created for the corresponding garnishment. Both infotypes must have the same validity periods.

Afterwards, when you create a record for Garn. Claims A infotype (0132), the system gives you the interest fields for processing. These fields refer to the previous amount fields. If you select one of the interest fields and save, you go to the Garn. Interest A infotype (0133). Here, all fields contain entries – except the Start date and Interest rate fields. When you select two interest fields and save, the system gives you Garn. Interest A infotype (0133) twice for processing.

When you create a subsequent record (this means that a record already exists) or you copy a record, the system assigns the New entry indicator. If you select the indicator, the system ignores the past garnishment results. Only the new amounts are for repayment. After you save, the system give you the Garn. Compensation A infotype (0137) for processing. Here all fields already contain entries.

The data recorded in the infotype is used in payroll. Monthly amounts (for example, monthly costs, regular support payments, and so on) are used in each period in the complete amount for repayment. If you delimit the validity of the monthly amounts, these are factored. This means that they are reduced proportionately. However, with the other amounts, only the rest amounts are used for repayment.

The system gives you a default garnishment number. However, you can overwrite this number.
