Garn. Interest A Infotype (0133)

Definition

In this infotype, you store the data on the interest to be repaid for a garnishment/cession. You can decide if you want to calculated interest on the costs or on the debt. Along with the usual interest specifications such as interest rate, type and so on, you can specify whether value-added tax is calculated on the interest.

Creation of new records

Before you create new records for this infotype, ensure that Garnishment/Cession infotype (0131) has already been created for the corresponding garnishment.

Use

The recorded data is used in payroll to calculate the repayment interest and in standard reporting.

Structure

Division into subtypes

The infotype is divided into different garnishment types. Each garnishment type represents a subtype of the infotype. The following garnishment types have been set up in the standard:

Subtype 1 Standard garnishment

Subtype 2 Preferred garnishment (support payments)

Subtype 3 Garnishment/Cession

Subtype 4 Pledge

You can set up more garnishment types in Customizing.

Garnishment type/number

The system gives you a default Garnishment number. However, you can overwrite this number.

Interest specifications

Here you record interest type, interest calculation type, period of interest, interest rate, amount and value-added tax.
