Equipment Requirement 

Definition

Items of equipment are production resources in the production process. Equipment requirements combine all the data for these items of equipment with the associated characteristics and value assignments. This data is required to execute the recipe.

Use

Equipment requirements contain information on technical data that is mapped and saved in the form of text descriptions, attached documents, or other characteristics with values assigned that are assigned to a class.

If you need similar equipment requirements in your recipes and process elements, you can create the requirements as building blocks. You can then add a copy of these building blocks to the recipe and change them as required.

Integration

Equipment requirements can be part of:

·        Recipes

·        All process elements (stage, operation, action)

You can assign any number of equipment requirements to a recipe, process, process stage, and process operation. A process action can only have one equipment requirement.
