Procedure

You create a configuration folder as a successor folder as follows:

You are in the CM Workbench.

  1. From the worklist, open the configuration folder or Baseline that you want to use as a template.
  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The Creating a successor folder dialog box appears.

  1. Select a life cycle phase and enter a key and a description for the new configuration folder.
  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Result

You have created a new configuration folder as a successor folder. The system displays the new configuration folder in the CM Workbench.
