Creation of a Requisition
You use this process to create a requisition to find suitable candidates for one or more job vacancies. A requisition is a prerequisite for creating job postings and their publications.
You have authorization to create
requisitions. You have this authorization if the
Recruiter role or
Restricted
Recruiter role is assigned to you.
In the IMG activity Define User Lists for Support Teams, you created user lists that you want to use to assemble support teams.
1. You choose the Maintenance function under Requisitions on your Personal Pages. The system displays by default a list of all requisitions to which you have access. These are the requisitions for which you are a member of the support team.
2. You choose Create Requisition. The system opens the assistant (container sequence) for creating a requisition.
3. On the General Job Information tab page, you enter the basic data, the job details and the payment information.
4. You assign concrete positions or jobs for an organizational unit to the requisition on the Organizational Data tab page. If necessary, you determine the number of jobs and specify a cost center to which the costs incurred with the requisition can be posted.

Entering the cost center is just for information purposes. There are no system activities linked to this information.
5. On the Support Team tab page, you assemble the team that is collectively involved in processing the requisition. There are two ways to assign the members:
a. You assign the members individually using the relevant personnel numbers. In doing so, you assign a role within the support team to each member to define the tasks in the support team.
b. You select a user list in which potential team members are stored with their respective roles. You can then assign individual members from the user list to the support team.
6. On the Job Requirements tab page, you enter the skills and qualifications that a prospective candidate must have.
7. On the Education Requirements tab page, you enter the education courses a prospective candidate must have completed.
8. If required, you upload electronic documents on the Attachments tab page to complete your requisition.
9. You check your entries on the Data Overview tab page. The system displays all entries for the requisition in a form.
10. You release the requisition on the Status tab page. If necessary, you use the status reason to specify why you made the status change.

If you do not have authorization to release requisitions, you must request a status change.
You have created a requisition and
released it or requested the release be performed by another recruiter. You
can now
create
job postings for this requisition and then
create
publications for the job postings.
