Component documentation Guided Procedures (GP) Monitor Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

The GP Monitor allows you to monitor the process flow of the functions provided by the framework of Guided Procedures and thus detect any problems that might occur. In particular, you can:

     Check the status of the GP applications and libraries. For more information, see GP Status.

     Monitor the transport requests created in the Admin Workset, including the GP objects they contain. For more information, see Transports.

     Find activated templates. For more information, see Activated Templates

     Find process instances and their activities. For more information, see Process Instances.

     Display the content of queues of incoming interactive forms. For more information, see Queue Manager.

Integration

The GP Monitor is a Guided Procedures plug-in for the SAP NetWeaver Administrator. You start the GP monitor with http://<host>:<port>/nwa ® Monitoring ® Guided Procedures. For more information, see Structure linkSAP NetWeaver Administrator.

The GP Monitor is part of the administration environment available in Guided Procedures. Guided Procedures is an integral part of your Enterprise Portal. To be able to use Guided Procedures and its administration environment, you must have assigned the relevant GP Portal roles and GP user roles. Restrictions

The GP Monitor is simply a read-only tool. It is only in combination with the Admin Workset that you can effectively perform administrative tasks.
