Example: Dynamic Selections Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

We will look at how dynamic selections work in a sample project, called WBS-A.

Example 1

You select the project WBS-A taking account of the dynamic selections entered for project manager Morris. They are maintained for the project and WBS elements. You have activated Dynamic sels and Incl.hierarchy in the database profile.

As a result, the project reports are presented as follows:

The costs for WBS element WBS-A-1-1 and WBS-A-1-1-1-2 are not totaled up to WBS element WBS-A-1.

Example 2

Deactivate the Dynamic sels in the database profile; the subordinate WBS elements are included in the selection. The costs are totaled up.
