● You have processed the following IMG activities in Customizing for Recipe Management:
○ Configure Equipment Requirements
○ Set Up Processes
○ Configure Stages
○ Configure Operations

● You have created the required classes in Classification.
...
1.
Choose
Process Element or
Equipment Requirement in the recipe workbench
by double-clicking.

If you are already in the screen for editing building blocks, you can also create new building blocks there of the same category.
2.
Choose
with the quick info textCreate.
3. Enter the required data and confirm your entries.
The
Basic Data tab
page appears.
4. Enter a description for the building block and other data if required.
5. Save your entries.
You have created the building block. You can choose other tab pages to enter more data if you wish.

You can use the same functions for editing recipes to edit recipe building blocks. For more information, see the documentation of the functions and procedures used in recipe editing.
You can also create a process building block or a process element building block using the data from the corresponding dependent object in a recipe. The system then creates a new building block and copies the relevant data from the recipe object to it. To do this, proceed as follows:
...
1. Load the recipe with whose data you want to create a process building block or process element building block and transfer the recipe to the navigation area.
2.
In the navigation
area, transfer the required process element (such as a stage) from the recipe
to the corresponding process element node (such as
Stage) under
Process Element using drag and drop. To create a process building
block, you must either transfer the recipe itself to the
Process node using drag and drop or choose Create Process with Data for Recipe in the context menu for
the recipe.
The Create Building Block dialog box (for processes) or the Copy Dependent Object to Building Block dialog box appears (for stages, operations, and actions).
3. Enter the required data and confirm your entries.
The system creates the process
building block or process element building block and opens the
Basic
Data tab page in the building block.
4. Enter the required data and save your entries.
The system has created a new process building block or process element building block and copied the data from the process or process element in the recipe to it.

You can create a building block for
a stage, operation, or action in the same way by transferring with drag and
drop the relevant process element from a recipe that you opened in the
application area. You transfer the process element from the respective row on
the
Process tab page in
the recipe.
