Process documentation Creating Personnel Cost Plans Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

This process enables you to create personnel cost plans and execute automatic cost planning runs. In this way, you can simulate various planning scenarios. You or the relevant line managers can change or enhance manually the plan data that is created automatically.

Prerequisites

You have made the necessary settings in Customizing for Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation under Cost Planning Runs and Detail Planning.

You have completed data collection.

Process Flow

...

       1.      You create a personnel cost plan for each planning scenario you want to simulate and each period for which you want to plan.

       2.      You execute one or more cost planning runs for each personnel cost plan.

       3.      You make the generated plan data available to the line managers responsible for detail planning (optional).

       4.      The line managers perform detail planning thereby enhancing and correcting the plan data (optional).

       5.      As the personnel cost planner, you perform detail planning (optional).

Result

You have created a personnel cost plan you can present to the management for reference purposes or for approval. After the personnel cost plan has been approved, you can release it. The plan data is thereby made available for subsequent processes and detailed reporting.
