Main Rating
The collective result of the ratings entered during the risk analysis for an agent in a work area.
After you have examined the agent by means of the various analysis methods, you can specify an overall assessment of the risk situation as the main rating. To do this you evaluate the results of the risk analysis and the results of the risk evaluation.
You can assign the
main rating manually or use the
Main rating
pushbutton to let the system calculate it from the individual ratings.
The system uses the user exit ANLS_MRATC as the basis for the calculation. You can adapt this to your requirements. In the standard system the main rating is calculated by the function module CBIH_ER07_MAINRATING_COMPUTE. It takes the “worst” individual rating as the main rating.

You set the possible main ratings in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety under Specify Exposure Ratings.
The system assigns a value assignment to each main rating to make it clearer.
The value assignment is a traffic light icon that can have the following color settings:
|
Icon |
Color |
Meaning |
|
|
Red |
High risk |
|
|
Yellow |
Medium risk |
|
|
Green |
No risk |

Not specified or no main rating available |

You also set which traffic light icons correspond to the different main ratings in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety under Specify Exposure Ratings.
When you search for a risk assessment, you can use the traffic light icon as a search criterion. During the search, both the main rating and the value assignment after check are taken into account.
If you run a matchup with the exposure profile after assigning the main rating, the rating of the corresponding exposure profile entry is overwritten by the main rating. If you have already filled out the value assignment after check, this rating is used for the matchup.
