Example: Creating an Objective Setting
Agreement and Appraisal Document 
The following describes how to create an objective setting agreement and create an appraisal document using the template Example: Performance Feedback.
The manager or employee can be responsible for editing the objective setting agreement.
Before you can edit an appraisal document, a suitable appraisal template on which you can base the appraisal document must have been created in the appraisal catalog.
To display the Balanced Scorecard and determine the appraisee’s qualifications profile, the mySAP Strategic Enterprise Management (mySAP SEM) component must be integrated in your system.
The process is divided into the following steps:
· Create the appraisal document Objective Setting
·
Edit objectives in the
appraisal document
Depending on which components or subcomponents are integrated in your
application, you can use the following options:
o Display the Balanced Scorecard and add strategic objectives from the Balanced Scorecard to the objective setting agreement.
o Add qualifications to the objective setting agreement.
· Perform (part) appraisal
· Complete appraisal
You have performed the individual steps for the objective setting agreement and appraisal document.
