Changing or Displaying Recipes 

Prerequisites

If status management is active for a recipe type, you can only change recipe data if the change state has status In Process (see Customizing for Recipes, activity Recipe Settings). If the change state has a different status, only the following activities can be performed:

●     Displaying recipe data

●     Status changes according to the status network

●     Editing scopes of application if the recipe status is Application Scope Restricted

●     Assigning documents if the recipe status is Released, provided that this function is active for the recipe type (see Customizing for Recipes, activity Recipe Settings)

Procedure

       1.      Load the recipe that you want to change or display and choose it from the hit list or the navigation area by double-clicking it.

The change state that was selected is displayed in the application area.

       2.      If you want to edit a different change state, choose the state on the  Eng. Change States tab page.

       3.      Choose the tab page on which you want to change the data and make the changes.

       4.      Choose Save.

Result

The change state you edited is changed for its entire validity period.
