Maintaining SD Condition
Records
Since the parameters for maintaining UTXJ condition records depend on its access sequence, you must assign the access sequence UTX1 to UTXJ (defined in transaction V/06).
Access UTX1 is delivered with three access numbers:
Access Number |
Condition Table |
Parameters |
8 |
78 |
Departure Country / Destination Country (Export) |
10 |
40 |
Country/State/Customer Classif.1/Material Classification 1 |
20 |
2 |
Domestic Taxes (Country/ Customer Classif.1/Material Classification 1) |
If access number 20 (condition table 2) is not available for access sequence UTX1, you must add it by using transaction V/07.
It is sufficient to create condition records for the access number 20 (condition table 2) by maintaining the following parameters:
· Plant Delivery Country
· Customer tax classification
· Material tax classification
Therefore, it is necessary to create a condition record for all customer tax classification and material tax classification combinations being used. These combinations must matched to the corresponding tax code. The SD tax codes are equivalent to those set up in FI. The tax code properties, the jurisdiction code of the ship-to address of the customer, the jurisdiction code of the ship-from address of the plant, the taxable amount, and other fields are passed to external tax system.
...
1. To create condition records in SD, from the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Master Data ® Conditions ® Prices ® Taxes ® Create/Change. You can also use transaction VK11 to create or VK12 to change.
2. To maintain US condition records, select the condition type UTXJ or to maintain Canadian condition records, select CTXJ.
