Examples of Task Execution
Scenarios
Some of the scenarios enabled by TRM include:
Bin
to Bin Movements (e.g. Putaway,
Picking,
Replenishment)

Pick from Bulk (see Picking from Bulk)
A resource picks either a whole handling unit or a quantity of material from a handling unit in bulk storage.

Pick and Pack (see Executing a Pick and Pack)
A resource picks a number of materials and packs them in one or more handling units.

Pick, Pack and Pass (see Changing the Destination of a Task)
A resource performs a pick and pack, after which he or she stops the execution of its task bundle and places the pick HU at a P&D node. Another resource takes the HU from here and continues the process to the final destination.

Picking for a Wave/Superbundle (see Executing a Pick and Pack)
A resource executes a pick and pack in a case where the picking tasks form a superbundle.

Task Clustering (see Executing Clustered Tasks)
A resource scans a number of handling units and performs the picking or putaway tasks associated with them, either in a system-determined or resource-determined sequence.
