Use

On this tab page, you define the processing procedure for an appraisal document created on the basis of an appraisal template. You also define which follow-up processes are to be triggered after the appraisal.

The tab page is only available at appraisal-template level.

Structure

General Settings group box

The following checkboxes are available in this group box:

·         Self Appraisal Not Allowed

·         Do Not Check Appraisal Date

·         No Review Phase

·         No Authorization Check for Appraiser

·         Multiple Appraisers Allowed

·         Multiple Appraisees Allowed

·         Attachment Allowed

·         Approval Process Activated

The meaning of the fields in this group box are documented in the field help for each individual field.

However, note the following with regard to these checkboxes:

·         No Review Phase
Select this field if you want to depict an objective setting process without a review phase. This indicator determines whether the status In Review can be selected on the Status Flow tab page.

·         Activate Approval Process
This indicator enables you to activate the approval workflow for an appraisal document:

¡        If the indicator is not set, the appraisal document receives the status Completed after the final appraisal.

¡        If the indicator is set, the substatuses Approved, Completed, Closed Approved, and Closed Rejected can also be assigned. Consequently, the relevant substatuses can be selected on the Status Flow tab page.

Additional fields:

·         Appraisal Template Mode
The appraisal template mode (Named, Anonymous with Registration, and Anonymous without Registration) enables you to define whether the system administrator must register a participant before he or she participates in the appraisal process or whether the document is accessible to all participants without registration.

·         Appraisal Document Creation Check
This parameter enables you to define the number of appraisal documents permitted for one person.

·         Action Log
You can use input help to activate this field so that the SAP system logs all actions executed for an appraisal document.
You can also define whether the log is to be available to all participants when they select a pushbutton available in the document or whether system administrators only are to be able to display the log when they call a report.

·         Processing of Archived Appraisal Docs
In this field, you can define the processing options permitted for completed appraisal documents.

·         Further Template Behavior
This field allows you to add or delete different enhancements to the enhancements available in the SAP standard system.
Example:
You can use the Default Part Appraiser BAdI to define that default part appraisers be added to the appraisal document.
This means that you do not need to enter them manually.

·         Part Appraisal Settings group box
The value in the Maximum Number of Part Appraisers field is controlled by the settings in the Further Template Behavior field.
In the case of an approval process for a 360° degree feedback, you do not need to restrict the number of part appraisers. In all other part appraisal processes, the system restricts the maximum number of part appraisers.

·         Follow-Up Processing Group Box
In this group box, you specify the time in the appraisal cycle, after the appraisal has been completed, when qualifications are to be adjusted automatically in the qualifications profile. You can use the SAP standard enhancements to select the first or last day within the validity period.
