Logging of Label Printing
This function records various data when you print labels. It also logs the changes that a user made to the user entries of a labeling scenario before printing.
In order for the system to log a change to a user entry, you must have set the Log indicator in Customizing for Global Label Management under Specify Labeling Scenarios for the field in which the entry was made in the labeling scenario.
The system only records the data if you print labels, and only records the data by default if you have changed the user entries before printing. If you set the environment parameter GLM_FLG_AUDIT_ALL to equal x in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools under Specify Environment Parameters, the system records the data irrespective of whether you changed the user entries beforehand.
The system logs the following data:
· Data used for label determination:
¡ Material
¡ Label stock
· User entry data:
¡ The user who made the user entries
¡ Date
¡ Time
¡
Report symbol key
by means of which the user entry is printed
¡ Value before the changes made by the user, that is the value found by the system in label determination
¡ Value after the changes made by the user
You can delete the recorded data from the database, although this depends on the change date (see Activities).
