Technical name: 0AMOUNT_TYP

The characteristic Amount type classifies document amounts. If you add up all amounts of a document, you get the "current value" of the document.

For example, if a purchase order of 100.00 is created, this amount is displayed under the amount type "Original". If an invoice of 60.00 was posted for this purchase order, an additional line with amount type "Reduction" (-60.00) is displayed for the purchase order.
