FACTS I Processing 

Use

FACTS I processing consists of the following programs:

·        FACTS I Trial Balance (RFMUSFG_FACTS1_BL)

Displays the trial balance data showing attributes relevant to FACTS I.

·        FACTS I – Send Trial Balance to Treasury (RFMUSFG_FACTS1_FILE_SEND)

Creates the data file your agency must send to the U.S. Treasury.

Prerequisites

You have carried out the configuration work described in Configuring FACTS I.

Procedure

To run the program, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      From the Easy Access menu, choose Accounting ® Public Sector Management ®Functions for US Federal Government ® Information System ® FACTS I and choose the program you want to execute.

       2.      In the resulting selection screens, enter the appropriate specifications.

       3.      Choose Execute.

Result

·         RFMUSFG_FACTS1_BL produces a Trial Balance using FACTS I-related data.

·         RFMUSFG_FACTS1_FILE_SENDgenerates the bulk file you need to send to Treasury, in the format (download or Office file) you select.
