Procedure documentation Creating a Distribution Order Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You create a baseline for a distribution order.

Prerequisites

In the configuration folder, the recipient list must be maintained.

Procedure

To create a distribution order:

  1. Select a baseline in the replication workbench.
  2. Choose the context menu of the baseline. (right-hand mouse button on the baseline)

    If you want to create a distribution order for several baselines, hold down the control key on your keyboard to select several baselines.

  3. Choose Create Distribution Order from the context menu.

    4. Once you have selected a distribution order, the system prompts you to specify a planned date for distribution. The proposed date is the baseline date. You can overwrite the proposed date.

    If you create a distribution order for several baselines with different dates, the system prompts you to select a date.

  4. Select the date you require and choose Copy.

Result

In the top left-hand screen area (product structure), a new entry for the distribution order is displayed. By double-clicking on This graphic is explained in the accompanying text, you can display detail data for the distribution order. You can change the planned date and the recipient list.

If you create a distribution order for several baselines, you can scroll between the baselines and their recipient lists by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text and This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Now you can start the distribution.
