This procedure describes how you assign a waste to a disposal document or change an existing assignment.
· You have created the waste.
· You have executed the procedure Editing Disposal Documents for the required disposal document and are on the Create Disposal Documents or Change Disposal Documents screen.
...
1. Choose the Waste tab page and enter data as required. Note the following:
¡ You can use the following input helps:
§ Material by Material Type
This input help takes into account all the wastes in the system. You can use it to search for wastes by entering, for example, a material type or a material short text as search criteria.
§ Search for Wastes with Suitable Partner Assignment
This input help only takes into account wastes that occur in waste generations, waste disposals, or waste transports. If you have assigned a waste management business partner to the disposal document, only wastes that occur in waste generations, waste disposals, or waste transports with this waste management business partner are taken into account.
§ Search for Wastes with Suitable Disposal Channels
This input help only takes into account wastes that occur in disposal channels. If you have assigned a waste management business partner to the disposal document, only wastes that occur in disposal channels with this waste management business partner are taken into account.
¡ If you assign a waste approval to the disposal document and you have set the Transf. waste fr. app. indicator for the disposal document type under Specify Disposal Document Types in Customizing for Waste Management, you can only assign the wastes from the disposal channels for the waste approval to the disposal document. The system also proposes these wastes automatically if you assign the waste approval to the disposal document, and it checks the wastes that have already been assigned. You may then have to correct waste assignments that are not permitted before you can save the data.
¡ In Customizing for Waste Management, you can also specify the following for each disposal document type under Specify Disposal Document Types:
§ You can specify the maximum number of wastes that you can assign to a disposal document.
§ You can specify that a warning is displayed if you assign a waste generator, waste disposer, and waste to a disposal document and the waste generator, waste disposer, and waste do not occur together in a disposal channel in the master data. For more information, see the IMG activity Specify Disposal Document Types and the field help for the Disposal channel rqd indicator in this IMG activity.
§ You can specify that the system issues a warning or an error message if you assign a waste and a waste management business partner to a disposal document of the disposal document type and this waste and waste management business partner do not occur together in a waste generation, waste disposal, or waste transport in the master data. For more information, see the IMG activity Specify Disposal Document Types and the field helps for the Partner/waste check and All Wst/Partn. Comb. indicators in this IMG activity.
2. Save your entries.
