Tax Number 

Definition

An identification number issued by tax authorities to taxpayers. There are two tax numbers in Slovakia that are relevant to the system, the DIC number and the ICO number.

Use

In Slovakia, you are required to print your customers' tax numbers on all invoices that you send them.

Customizing

We recommend that you copy the standard SAPscript form for customer invoices, RVINVOICE01, and add to it the symbols &VBDKR-STCD1_RE& for the DIC number, and &VBDKR-STCD1_RE& for the ICO number. For more information, see Program Symbols.

Master Data

Enter your customers’ and vendors’ tax numbers in the master records (see Customer Master Data (Control Data) and Vendor Master Data (Control Data)).

Day-to-Day Activities

When you print out customer invoices, they show the customers' tax numbers, as required.
