Processing Contract Offers and Real Estate Contracts 

Use

You can create contract offers from an RE search request or an offered object and use them to create real estate contracts. You create a contract offer to make a binding offer to a prospect concerning conditions for a rental object. You can create this contract offer first and convert it into a real estate contract later. If you enter all data relevant for a contract in the contract offer, then the system adopts this data later in the real estate contract when you create it.

Prerequisites

You made the necessary settings in Customizing for Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX). Choose Real Estate Search ® Contract Offer. Also choose Contract ® Contract Type.

You created RE search requests and offered objects. You executed a search, if applicable, and copied objects into your hit list.

Features

You can carry out the following functions:

·        Creating a contract offer

You are not required to enter all contract data in the contract offer. For example, you can create the contract offer without posting data. Unlike the real estate contract, the contract offer tolerates a certain amount of missing data.

·        Creating a contract

You can only create a real estate contract on the basis of a vacant offered object. Only one offered object is assigned to each real estate contract for a given period of time.

There are two options for creating a contract:

¡        You can create the contract from an RE search request.

¡        You can create the contract from a contract offer.

You can copy the prospect into the real estate contract as the main contractual partner or as the tenant.
