Creating and Using Fund Groups 
Purpose
You can use
fund groups to build fund hierarchies that summarize similar accounting treatments and objectives according to the particular requirements of your organization. Individual funds form the lowest level of the hierarchy.Process Flow
You can create as many fund groups as you like. You can structure them, for example, according to internal and external accounting and reporting viewpoints. Fund groups enable you to perform financial reporting evaluations for each view. They also support cost accounting processes during planning and internal allocations.
Result
You can use fund groups in Financial Accounting and in Controllingand Project System transactions enabled for fund accounting. You cannot use fund groups for Funds Management budgeting and reporting.
