Definition

An object in FOX is a complete unit (object instance) of a specific object type. An object has an internal object key, and optionally also an external object key. An object can have a validity.

Example

In PLM product data distribution, the following object types can be exploded with FOX:

Material, bill of material, document, characteristic, and class
