Resource element |
Enter the resource element identification. For a worker, enter its exact username. |

Presentation device |
Choose a default presentation device for the resource element. When the worker tries to log on, the default presentation device automatically appears in the appropriate field on the Logon screen. |

Role check |
If this is set, when a worker tries to log on, the system checks the specific resource element type requested against the worker’s allowed element types. |
|
|
Default resource type |
Choose a default resource type for a standalone worker only. |
Choose a default resource type for the device (optional). When the device is selected on the Logon screen, the default resource type automatically appears in the appropriate field. If there is no default resource type, the last resource type entered is set as the default. |

Personalization |
Enter a number representing a personalization profile. For more information on personalization profiles, see the IMG for Task & Resource Management ® Presentation Management ® Personalize User Data. |

Fixed elm. type |
If this is set, the element type entered in the Element type field will be the default. |

Work Area |
Select working areas and enter priorities. For more information on resource element – work area priorities, see Priority Model. |

HU Types |
Select handling unit types and enter priorities. For more information on resource element – handling unit type priorities, see Priority Model. |

|
Allowed Elem. Types |
Select the allowed element types for the worker. |

If a worker logs on with a device resource element for which a presentation device and personalization is defined, the system uses the device’s presentation device and personalization.
If a worker logs on with a device resource element and enters a specific presentation device in the relevant field, the system uses this presentation device. If the worker resource element does not have a default presentation device, this one will be used and saved as the default.
If
a worker logs on without a device, or with a device resource element for which
neither a presentation device nor personalization is defined, the system uses
the worker resource element’s presentation device and
personalization.
