Definition

An optical archive saves data and documents using magneto-optic technology.

Use

The correspondence you create is archived optically, provided you are using the optical archiving functions and have made the corresponding Customizing settings. You can locate this archived correspondence for creating copies and drilldown reports in the following ways:

·        Using the generic object services that you can call up in the loan contract.

·        Using the file, if a loan is assigned to it and its document type corresponds to the correspondence type

·        Using the Document Finder, provided the document finder is linked to Loans Management and the Archive Link Online Index has been updated.
