Process documentation AHP Processing in Holiday Pay Return Period Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

This process explains the Advance Holiday Pay processing for an employee during the Holiday Pay Return Period (HPRP).

During HPRP, the system transfers the amount stored in Gross Results Table (GRT) to IT. This is the amount to be paid to the employee for vacation periods.

Process Flow

Advance Holiday Pay schema (IEAH) calls Return Period Check rule (IEPR) to check if the current period is HPRP. If the current period is HPRP, the schema calls:

·        Read OGRT to GRT rule (IEKO) to transfer the wage types from OGRT to new GRT.

·        Read wage types from GRT to IT rule (IEKR) to transfer the wage types present in GRT to the IT.

Wage types set to Advance Holiday Pay processing class (71) specifications 5 are paid during this period. These wage types are stored in GRT during HPVP.

Retroactive Payroll Run

If you perform a retroactive payroll run during this period because of any basic pay change in HPVP, the system processes the wage type set to specification 1 of Basic Pay Wage type processing class (72). The Add Vacation period retro Difference rule (IEKS) calculates the difference of basic pay during each vacation period. It adds the same to the value of basic pay wage type of the current period.
