Use

You can schedule reports in background processing for the purpose of evaluating your project results at intervals. You should always do this when there is a lot of data to evaluate; otherwise, system performance may be adversely affected.

Prerequisites

You must define variants for accessing reports in background processing.

Features

You can schedule the report access for one given point in time or periodically. To this end, you must save the selection criteria in variants.

Activities

To run the drilldown reports in background processing, choose Project System  ® Information System ®[Report you want] on the SAP Easy Access screen. Then, in the initial screen, choose Evaluation ®Execute in Background.
