Information on Dependants (0704) 

Definition

In this infotype, which is split into a number of subtypes according to family member, you store any information relevant for the global employee’s dependant(s).

Use

This infotype enables you to specify whether the selected dependant is going to join the employee during the global assignment.

Note

The school type field is only valid for subtype Child and is used in combination with the Accompanying indicator. It enables you to specify the school the dependant’s child or children is/are going to attend during the global assignment.

Structure

The infotype is split into two sections described below:

·         Dependant’s Information

Dependant’s Details

In this section, the data is retrieved from the corresponding subtype of infotype Family/Related Person (0021).

Dependant’s Information

In this section, you can specify whether or not the selected dependant will join the assignee. In addition, and provided that you have selected the Child subtype, you can select the applicable school type.

Implementation considerations

You are free to customize the school types. For more information, see the IMG activity Define School Types under the section Assignment Master Data.

Integration

You must have maintained the relevant subtypes in infotype Family/Related Person (0021). If not, you will not be able to create any record in this infotype.
