Searching for Collateral Entities 

Use

Use this function to search for collateral entities already existing in Collateral Management.

 

Procedure

       1.      Select the Find tab page in the search area of the workbench.

The system shows a list of possible selection criteria. The selection criteria may vary for the different collateral entity categories and also business partners.

       2.      Specify one or more selection criteria using the list arrow on the parameter fields.

You must necessarily select an entity category. Additionally, you can specify if the search must be executed using the identification of collateral entities or of business partners.

The system filters and presents the remaining selection critera depending on whether you have selected Identification or Business Partner.

       3.      Select the Start button located below the search criteria to execute the search function.

You can also use the advanced search function by selecting the  icon with the quick info text Advanced Search. This search function provides detailed search criteria to search for collateral entities in the workbench.

Result

The system displays a list of collateral entities (or business partners) that match the selection criteria that you have specified. The system filters the search results for display authorizations for the user before showing the hitlist. The collateral entities for which the user does not have atleast display user will not be shown in the hitlist.
