       1.      Select the number range assignment category.

·        Internal number assignment:

Leave the entry field Contract bundle number empty. The system automatically assigns a number.

·        External number assignment:

Enter a number in the entry field Contract bundle number. The system checks whether the assigned number is in an external number range. As long as the number has not already been assigned and it is within the prescribed interval, the contract bundle is created with the proposed number. Otherwise, the system issues a corresponding error message.

       2.      Specify the validity date under the Versioning attributes section (key date or range). By doing so, you determine the time spot from which the contract bundle is effectively valid. The current date is displayed as a default for the contract bundle start date. If you want to limit the contract bundle, enter an end date for it. The contract bundle is not effectively valid after this date.

       3.      Select a contract bundle type (using input help).

       4.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. You reach one of the data screens.

       5.      Set the indicator Save contract bundle actively to save the contract bundle actively with the current date/time in the system. If you do not set this indicator, the data is saved inactively. This means that the data is not available for use in subsequent processes such as the commission case.

       6.      Under the section General data on the contract bundle, specify the legal validity period for the contract bundle. By doing so, you determine the period of time in which the contract bundle is legally valid. The effective start date is displayed as a default for the contract bundle start date. Providing the Contract bundle end date is empty, the contract bundle is not legally restricted.

       7.      Under the section Contract bundle name, enter a language key and a name for the contract bundle. The name of a contract bundle can be maintained in more than one language. If the language key is the same as the logon language, the system displays the contract bundle name in the header data under short description of contract bundle.

       8.      Bundle assignment

¡        Assign the commission contract under the section Assignment of commission contract to contract bundle by using the input help (F4) and selecting the required commission contract number. The following fields are automatically filled for information purposes: commission contract partner, position, organizational unit, contract start and end.

¡        Assign the commission contract under the section Assignment of contract bundle to contract bundle by using the input help (F4) and selecting the required contract bundle number. The contract bundle start and end fields are also filled automatically for information purposes.

       9.      Assign a sequential number to identify the assignment uniquely.

Result

Now you have completed the above steps, you have created a new contract bundle.

To change contract bundles, choose Change Contract Bundles.

To display contract bundles, choose Display Contract Bundles.
