Transferring Plan Data to Controlling 

Use

This function enables you to transfer the plan data for a personnel cost plan to Controlling, where it can be included in the overall enterprise plan.

Prerequisites

You have released the plan data.

Features

·        You can transfer the entire personnel cost plan or part of the plan data.

For instance, you can transfer plan data from a few posting periods in the fiscal year or transfer the plan data only for certain cost centers.

·        You can cancel all or some of the data that was transferred.

If, a few months later, you want to perform personnel cost planning again for the second half of the year, you can cancel the data transferred to Controlling for this period and perform planning again.

·        You can post certain cost elements, and thereby also the cost items assigned to them, to fixed cost centers or standard orders.

       1.      You can execute this function in the following ways:

¡        As personnel cost planner, you use Managing Personnel Cost Plans. Position the cursor on a personnel cost plan and choose Plan Data ® Transfer to CO ® Post Plan.

¡        As the person responsible for planning in Accounting, you execute the function from the SAP Easy Access screen, under Human Resources ® Personnel Management ® Personnel Cost Planning ® Cost Plans ® Post.

The Posting Personnel Cost Plans to CO screen is displayed. Position the cursor on a personnel cost plan and choose Plan Data ® Post Plan.

The Posting Personnel Cost Plans to CO screen provides you only with a Controlling view of personnel cost plans as opposed to a human resources view. You can execute all the functions listed under Features from this screen. However, it does not allow you to access any other Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation functions.

       2.      Enter the necessary data on the selection screen of the Posting to Accounting screen and execute the program.

       3.      The system derives the relevant cost elements or statistical key figures for Controlling from the cost items for Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation and cumulates them.

       4.      The system displays the posted plan data in the Controlling view without human resources information.
